Soul-Identity Music on Likwid #026 02/12/16

Weekly Fridays 5pm-7pm (GMT) on Likwid London. Soul-Identity Music. 2 hours of upfront and classic soulful underground music. Friday afternoons are the new Sunday afternoons as we move slots, but our agenda is still the same, as we continue to bring you the finest new music around and pairing it with forgotten classics from days gone by. This week, we kick off proceedings with some killer soul music from Lee Fields & The Expressions, and Hannah Williams & The Affirmations before hitting our stride with recent material from XOA, Duke Hugh, Common and Nosizwe to name a few. In the second hour this week, it’s all about the modern soul and disco with a strictly vinyl selection straight off the shelf! Thanks for listening.

Originally aired Friday 2nd December 2016.
