a couple of parties this weekend worthy of your attention
17/12/2008LONDON UNDERGROUND @ LIFE, Old Street
Friday 19th December 2008, 9PM – 2AM
£5 (door)
Friday night sees an Xmas party at one of our favourite East London basements (I know, we have a few). A joint venture between one of the hardest working men on the scene, Wah Wah 45′s Dom Servini, Ross Allen and up and coming DJ, Tristian the bPM – they’ll be joined on the night by Brownswood’s Beccy Grierson and The Clown Prince, who’ll be doing a special live hip hop set. From soul to disco to dubstep and other underground electronic sounds… it should be a good night. Get there early and check the food in the Japanese restaurant above. Niceness ![]()

This time around there’ll be a host of acts and DJs on display from the London underground music scene including, Radio 1′s Gilles Peterson, Kode9 from London dubstep label Hyperdub records. Rinse FM’s Alex Nut and renowned beatsmiths Architeq and Lukid. All funds from the night will be given to the National Deaf Children’s Society, so easily the best way to do something for charity and still enjoy yourslef this Christmas. Check it.
